Pharmacy Score
Delivery: Royal Mail & DPD.
What happens after the prescription is approved — and what to check before you pay.
Two names you'll see everywhere.
Almost every GPhC-registered online pharmacy in the UK dispatches weight-loss medication with one of two tracked services:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — aims for next working day, fully tracked, with signature options. The workhorse of pharmacy dispatch.
- DPD — next-day courier with live tracking and a one-hour delivery window, handy when you'd rather not wait in all day.
Cold-chain, briefly
Mounjaro and Wegovy injections are temperature-sensitive, so they're packed with cold-chain protection for the journey. The Wegovy pill and Foundayo are tablets and don't need it. If an injection ever arrives warm, or the packaging looks tampered with, contact the pharmacy before using it.
Your pre-payment checklist
- Is delivery included in the price, or added at checkout?
- Which courier — Royal Mail or DPD — and is tracking included?
- How quickly does the pharmacy dispatch after your prescription is approved? (Approval itself isn't instant — a real prescriber reviews every order, and that's a good sign, not a slow one.)
- Is the packaging discreet, and is age verification needed on delivery?
Terms differ between providers and can change — confirm them on the pharmacy's own page before you order.
