How We Review Pharmacies.

The standard behind every in-depth review on this site, what we document, what we never do, and why.

Evidence on the page, not adjectives.

In short

Every Pharmacy Score review documents a real patient journey through a GPhC-verified provider: the consultation, the prescribing checks, delivery, packaging and the real checkout total, with photographic evidence. Reviews cannot be bought, softened or removed, and only register-verified pharmacies are eligible.

Plenty of sites "review" pharmacies from their landing pages. We don't. A Pharmacy Score review starts with a real consultation and ends with a real parcel, and we publish what happened, not what we were told would happen.

What every review documents

  • The consultation: every question asked, how long it took, and what medical evidence was requested.
  • The prescribing checks: whether a qualified prescriber genuinely reviewed the order, how identity and medical history were verified, and whether the process ever felt like a formality. (It should never feel like one.)
  • Delivery: courier, tracking quality, dispatch speed, and cold-chain protection for injections.
  • Packaging: discretion, condition on arrival, temperature on arrival where relevant.
  • The real total: the full checkout amount, including delivery and extras, set against the advertised price. The gap between the two is often the most useful number on the page.

The rules we hold ourselves to

  • Only providers already verified on the GPhC register are eligible, legality before opinion.
  • No provider can pay for a review, preview one, soften one, or have one removed. Corrections of fact go through the same open corrections route as everything else.
  • We are patients in these reviews, not guinea pigs: no medical risk is taken for content, and dosing decisions stay with the prescriber throughout.
  • Reviews are dated, and revisited when a provider materially changes its service.

What a review is not

A review here is a service review, not a clinical assessment. We can't judge whether a medicine or dose is right for anyone, that's the prescriber's job, and it stays theirs. Read the reviews alongside the provider's verified profile and its real Trustpilot score for the full picture.
