The injections
Mounjaro and Wegovy are once-weekly pens. Trial weight-loss figures run higher (roughly 15 to 21% average at top doses), they need refrigeration and cold-chain delivery, and there's a needle, though most people find the pens far gentler than expected.
The tablets
The Wegovy pill and Foundayo are once-daily tablets. No needles, no fridge. The Wegovy pill demands a strict morning fasting routine; Foundayo (newly licensed in the UK on 10 August 2026) doesn't. Trial figures run a little lower than the top injections.
