Plenty of people start on a new-customer price, watch month two jump, and assume they're stuck. You're not. Any GPhC-registered provider can take over your treatment.
What the new provider needs
Expect to share your current medication, dose, how long you've been on it, and usually evidence, a photo of your pen box or a previous order confirmation. A prescriber at the new provider reviews it before anything is dispensed. That's not bureaucracy; it's the process working as it should.
Timing it
Start the switch about a week before your next pen is due, approval and delivery take a few working days. Don't let yourself run to zero; a gap can mean restarting lower.
Finding somewhere cheaper to switch to
Check the live price for your current dose, Monj.co.uk for Mounjaro, iGovy.co.uk for Wegovy, then verify the pharmacy on the GPhC register before ordering. Every provider in our directory is already verified, with its register entry linked.
